Salary c. £13K. 39 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday 23 May 08 HR ASSISTANT (Part Time) Human Resources We are seeking an experienced HR administrator with excellent time management and communication skills. This will be a busy and varied role including maintenance of the company’s HR database, producing standard HR correspondence and maintaining personnel files. Excellent IT literacy is a pre-requisite and a Certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent would be an advantage. Part Time up to 20 hrs per week. Actual hours to be agreed. 23 May 08 CATERING ASSISTANTS Restaurant Front of House You will undertake a wide variety of front of house catering duties within our restaurant. This will include preparing and serving food and drink, table clearing, till operation and, of course, providing outstanding customer service. Catering experience and a food hygiene certificate is preferred but full training will be given. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Garden Plants This role entails working outside in all weathers, maintaining, displaying and selling our stock of garden plants. You will use your horticultural knowledge and enthusiasm to sell garden plants and provide outstanding aftercare advice to customers. You will have demonstrable horticultural knowledge or qualifications, ideally coupled with retail experience gained within a similar environment. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Garden Shop We are looking for a Garden Centre Assistant to provide customer service and sales advice to our customers about our range of Garden Shop products. This extensive product range includes seeds, tools, fertilisers, weedkillers and other garden products such as solar lighting. Duties will also include moving and displaying stock. Relevant product knowledge is desirable and a willingness to learn and assimilate new product information is essential. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Houseplants This role requires demonstrable knowledge or qualifications relating to indoor plants and, ideally, floristry. The role entails displaying, maintaining and selling houseplants whilst providing excellent advice to our customers. You will have retail experience and relevant knowledge or qualifications. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANTS x 2 Leisure Department We are seeking two people with exceptional sales skills to join our Furniture, BBQ and outdoor products sales team. You will have outstanding customer service skills, and a flair for the presentation, display and merchandising of products. Retail experience is essential, ideally combined with previous experience of selling furniture and/or detailed knowledge about furniture products. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player. Flexibility about duties is important as the role will involve selling other leisure and giftware products, including Christmas items. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Customer Services – Tills/Cash Office We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated employee to work on Tills on weekdays and in the Cash Office on alternate weekends. The successful candidate will be positive and helpful with experience in a customer-facing role. Experience of operating a till is essential. Experience of cashing up is preferred but full training will be given. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Landscapes We are looking for an enthusiastic person to sell Landscapes materials including fence panels, paving slabs and gravel. The role is physically demanding and will include a large amount of manual handing, and working outside in all weathers. Retail/sales experience is essential and a Fork Lift Truck licence would be a distinct advantage. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Aquatics We are seeking a self-motivated person to join our Aquatics sales team. This department sells a range of fish species and related products such as tanks and coral. An Aquatics qualification or demonstrable knowledge is essential as you will be looking after our fish and providing accurate advice and guidance to our customers. Relevant retail experience is preferred. 39½ hrs per wk to include working alternate weekends 23 May 08 GARDEN CENTRE ASSISTANT Multi Taskers We are seeking two part time Multi Taskers to join this friendly, busy team. This is a varied role which involves working in all departments within the Garden Centre and Restaurant. Your duties will change throughout the day, often at short notice, and may include: till operation, Reception duties, maintaining stock levels, table clearing and providing excellent customer service along the way. Experience in either Retail or Catering is preferred. 16 hrs per week – actual hours to be agreed. 23 May 08
