Why we love it:
Achilleas are really handy plants for the border. They need little or no maintenance and they flower their socks off from early summer to the autumn.
Their seed heads can also look really attractive in the winter frosts as well as providing a food source for our feathered friends when food is scarce.
This stunning variety is really the strongest most effrescent red you're likely to see in the garden, although the colours will fade as the flowering moves through to Autumn.
What's more the flowers are held on lower compact stems that won't need staking.
Really good plant to use where you have a border that tends to dry out in the summer months or for poor soils.
Achillea is named after the Greek mythological character Achilles, as it was ‘thought’ to have healed the wounds of soldiers at the battle of Troy. It's common name is Yarrow.

Caring for your plant:
Little or no aftercare required, save tidying up the old winter stems as soon as new growth appears in the Spring.
