Why we love it:
  • Newly introduced form of the common lilac that produces stunning golden foliage tipped red with new growth
  • From the trials we conducted it seems to keep a really good habit and grows as a well branched shrub. However by pruning branches that appear at the base, you can train it to grow as a small tree
  • Rose pink flowers should appear in the Spring, however we've found that you may not see these until the 2nd or 3rd year in the garden. Really you're going to love the foliage on this plant. The flowers are sweetly scented
  • First introduced by Webbs in 2006 following trials in the research & development unit. Common Lilac was first introduced to the UK from the mountains of S E Europe in the 16th Century
