Tea 'n' Talks 
Our programme of talks by our resident 'Garden Guru' Frank Hardy are guaranteed to inspire and educate. Talks, with tea/coffee & shortbread begin at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am, ending at 11am.
 
Tickets cost £5 for Garden Club members and £6 for others.
  • Thursday 11th September: Bulbs – Autumn Planting for Spring Colour
  • Thursday 18th September: Autumn Lawncare
  • Thursday 2nd October: Containers and Hanging Baskets for Autumn and Winter Colour.
  • Thursday 16th October: Fruit Tree Pruning

*All 4 Tea ‘n’ Talks must be booked at the same time to qualify for the FREE TALK.

Walk 'n' Talks
 
Beginning with tea/coffee & shortbread, enjoy an exclusive seasonal guided tour around our Riverside & New Wave Gardens with our Grounds team. Prompt 9.30am start, ending at midday.

Tickets cost £10 for Garden Club members and £12 for all others.

Sunday 21st September: Falconry Display 11am – 4pm

Trevor Hill Falconry’s display team includes Eagles, Vultures, Caracaras, Hawks, Falcons and Owls. The team will be giving 2 displays with each bird trained to demonstrate their natural behaviour, style, technique and speed of hunting in an arena environment. 

There will also be a chance at the end of the display for some visitors to have hands-on experience flying the birds themselves. Trevor and his team are happy to chat to visitors while the birds rest between flying displays and answer any questions about the sport of falconry.

Flying displays lasting approximately 30 minutes, at 12 noon and 2.30pm.

Some elements of the display are weather dependant.

World's Biggest Coffee Morning: Friday 26th September
 
Join us and help raise money for Macmillan Nurses. For every coffee (or any hot drink) purchased between 9am-11.30am we will donate £1 to Macmillan. 
 
Perry Barr Greyhound Awareness Roadshow: Sat 27th and Sun 28th September, 11am – 4pm

Chat to the volunteers and see if you would like to adopt a retired greyhound.

Half-term fun at Webbs Monday 27th October – Friday 31st October

Pumpkin Carving (11am - 4pm) Let your kids have all the fun of pumpkin scooping - but we'll deal with the mess! Children choose a pumpkin and scoop it out, then our trained staff will cut out a great Halloween Face.
Tickets £4 including pumpkin and battery operated tea-light. Purchase tickets on the day.

Professor Pepperpot (11am - 4pm)

Professor Pepperpot will entertain you with his balloon magic and silly jokes. FREE

 Riverside Ramble: (11am – 4pm) Pick up an entry form from our Reception Desk and find the names of the hidden Pumpkins in the Riverside Gardens. Everyone who returns a completed entry form to our Reception Desk will receive a free prize.
Face Painting (£2 per child) 11am - 4pm

Fair Rides £1.50 per ride

Please note: An adult must accompany children at all times and some activities are weather dependent.

Sat 1st November - Wed 31st December: Riverside Illuminated Trail

Wander through our Riverside Gardens which will be festooned in festive lights.

Breakfast and Tea with Santa
 
A special Tea or Breakfast with Santa. There's entertainment and Santa meets all of the children during the meal. Ticket £9.95 which includes a special balloon and gifts worth more than £4.

Tea starts at 5pm and lasts for 1 hour, Friday 5th, 12th and 19th December

Breakfast starts at 9.15am and lasts for 1 hour, Saturday 6th, 13th, 20th, Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th December.
