Why we love it:
Tomato Marmande is a traditional old French beefsteak variety with a superior taste and meaty fruit
The firm flesh and realtively few seeds make it a fabulous choice for slicing and drizzling with good qualtiy olive oil, but it is also a good cooking tomato bursting with flavour
What you need to know:
1 x packet of Tomato Marmande seeds
Each packet contains approximately 120 seeds
For outdoor crops, not recommended under glass
For outdoor crops, sow April under glass 18-21°C (65-70°F). Grow in warm, sunny positions in well prepared, moisture retentive soil allowing 45-60cm (1½-2') between plants, and water regularly in dry periods. (16-18 weeks maturity.)
