What time are the beach sessions?
There are three sessions, seven days a week from Saturday 2nd July to Sunday 18th September.
Mondays – Saturdays:
Morning session 9:30am – 11:30am, £5
Lunchtime session 12:00pm – 2:00pm, £7.50 includes lunch bag
Afternoon session 2:30pm – 4:30pm, £5
Morning session 10am – 12pm, £5
Lunchtime session 12:15pm – 2:15pm, £7.50 includes lunch bag
Afternoon session 2:30pm – 4:30pm, £5
How long are the sessions?
Each session lasts two hours with a mixture of supervised activities and free play.
What activities will take place during the session?
Each session is structured and will include stories, singing, beach games and lots of fun playtime. The lunchtime sessions also include a lunch bag for each child who is booked.
What is in the lunch bag?
The lunch bag consists of a sandwich (ham or cheese spread), Pom bear crisps, a cookie and snack pack of raisins. Free, unlimited squash,water and fruit are available throughout the session.
information for parents and guardians:Is there someone supervising the activity?
Yes. There will be two Webbs Lifeguards on duty to lead each session but please note parents and guardians must be present at all times. Adults are not required to join the activities
Can I leave my child at the beach while I go shopping?
Unfortunately not. An adult must be present at all times but you are not required to join the activities – suitable seating and tables are available in a viewing area next to the activity.
We have arrived as a group of parents/guardians, can some of us go and shop?
Of course, please use your best judgment – whoever you choose to be your supervising adults they must remain in the activity area in case the Lifeguards need to speak to them.
Do babies get in free?
Babes in arms and under 2s accompanying older siblings who are booked into an activity session may use the small sandpit free but if a child is going to take part in activities the session price applies. Please ensure younger children who are not taking part do not obstruct the activities for others.
Is there somewhere for parents/guardians to watch?
Yes, there is a viewing area adjacent to the beach where accompanying adults can sit during the session.
Are there refreshments and food available?
There is free squash, water and fruit available at the beach for children. Accompanying adults have access to the Webbs restaurant which is next to the activity.
Can my pram or pushchair be taken on to the beach?
Yes. There will be a buggy park adjacent to the beach.
Where does the activity take place?
The beach is located outside on the restaurant terrace at Webbs, Wychbold. To find the beach please walk through the store, continuing through the restaurant and out onto the terrace.
Is the beach undercover?
Yes, it is an all-weather activity. The beach has been designed with the great British summertime in mind – from summer showers to lovely sunny days the activity is suitably covered.
What age is the activity suitable for?
Webbs recommends the activity is best suited to 2-8 years olds. Please see the information above about babies and under 2s.
Can I accompany my child on to the beach or do I have to stay outside?
For the activity session children will go on to the beach by themselves and parents/guardians will sit close by to watch but should you wish or need to accompany your child this is possible – please speak to a Lifeguard.
Is the activity suitable for wheelchair users?
The Beach is accessible to wheelchair users and the Lifeguards will modify activities where possible if required.
Is play sand used?
Yes, child friendly play sand is used.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets can be bought in-store at Webbs, Wychbold or Webbs, West Hagley or online at www.webbs.co.uk. Please note unfortunately we don’t accept telephone bookings. Please ensure that you bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation email on the day, including the barcode. Alternatively show your booking confirmation email, including barcode, on your smart phone or tablet. If you cannot print out your booking confirmation email or do not have a smart phone or tablet, please bring your booking reference to the reception desk at Webbs, Wychbold before your beach session and we will print out your confirmation for you.
Do I have to book in advance or can I just turn up on the day?
Numbers for each session are limited to ensure a great quality activity for all children so we do advise that you book in advance as this is the only way to guarantee the time and date you want. Tickets may be purchased on the day at Webbs, Wychbold subject to availability.
Are there any discounts for group bookings?
Discounts aren’t available for public sessions but if you are interested in private hire of the beach for a group please email email@example.com
Is the Beach available for private parties?
If you are interested in hiring the Beach for a private party please email firstname.lastname@example.org
I want to move my booking.
We will endeavour to move your booking to another date/time subject to availability. There is no charge for moving your booking.
I want a refund.
Ticket refunds will incur a £5 administration fee and will be processed within 5 working days.
I have got a problem booking my tickets online.

Terms and Conditions
- In exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Webbs management the beach may need to be closed.
- In this event beach goers will be given the opportunity to transfer their tickets to an alternative session of equal value.
- If this is not possible a full refund will be given.
- A refund will only be given on presentation of the original tickets within 28 days of the cancelled session.
- Webbs management reserves the right to refuse entry/eject patrons from the beach without refund. Webbs management decision is final.
