Webbs are delighted to partner with Michelin-starred Chef Brad Carter (Carters of Moseley in Birmingham), local food heroes Droitwich Salt and Buxton Butchers, from our very own Food Hall, to bring you a sensational cookery masterclass and food experience that will inspire your summer entertaining.

This event includes:
  • Introduction from Will Kerton of Droitwich Salt & Chef Brad Carter
  • Cooking demonstration from Michelin-starred Chef Brad Carter
  • 'How to Season Meat' with Nigel Buxton of Buxton Butchers
  • Summer themed street food style food & drink
  • Foodie goodie bag to take home
  • Chat face-to-face with exceptional independent local food & drink producers
Each session is a celebration of the unique collaboration between Brad Carter and Will Kerton of Droitwich Salt and the 3 new flavoured gourmet salts they have crafted. Join them as they explore the food journey that has brought them together, enjoy an inspirational cooking demonstration from Brad Carter and finish with tips on seasoning steaks and other meats for home cooking from master butcher Nigel Buxton.

After learning how to use the salts when cooking the final part of the event will be your chance to taste them in a specially created street food style summer menu from Webbs head chef. Savour your food with a suitably summery drink from a selection served by 3 of our favourite drinks producers, hand-picked for this event (including the head mixologist from Cotswold Distillery).  

And, finally you’ll bid us farewell with a foodie goodie bag in hand that includes recipes inspired by the day and more treats.
  • This event is hosted in the new events space in the restaurant garden at Webbs, Wychbold.
  • Although the event area is protected from the elements we do advise wearing suitable clothing on the day.

Chef Brad Carter, Carters of Moseley
One of the most innovative, daring young chefs working in the UK. In September 2015 Carters of Moseley, the restaurant Brad opened with his partner Holly, received a coveted Michelin star.
Will Kerton & Droitwich Salt
Churchfield Saltworks is situated just minutes from Webbs in the Salwarpe Valley. Will and Gillian Kerton have revived extraction by hand of Droitwich Salt and their gourmet salts are quickly becoming a must have for chefs and home cooks alike due to its purity and natural flavour.
Nigel Buxton from Buxton Butchers
Nigel is the mastermind behind Buxton Butchers in the Webbs Food Hall. Nigel has roamed the earth seeking out the very best methods that he can use to create exquisite meat for his customers.
Your choice of summer drinks on the day will be served by Cotswold Distillery, Fentimans, plus rosé wine from the Italian vineyard of the Avis family from Worcester.
