YOU WILL NEED:

Asparagus
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Lemon juice
Feta cheese

METHOD:

1. Preheat your barbecue; if it is gas, then turn this up to high if you have a coal barbecue then make sure there are no flames.
2. Coat your asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper.
3. Cook on the barbecue until slightly blackened and wilted. This should take between 5 to 10 minutes. If you prefer a slightly softer texture, then wrap and cook them in tin foil.
4. Remove from the heat and put on a plate. Drizzle over the top with lemon juice and sprinkle your feta or cheese of your choice over the top and enjoy!

Tip - if you put the cheese on straight away, it will slightly melt and form a sort of cheese dressing.
