Why we love it:
These Amsterdam Forcing Carrots from Thompson & Morgan are a high quality variety producing small cylindrical roots with a rich deep orange red colour and almost no core
Carrot Amsterdam Forcing is very quick to mature, ideal for early forcing in frames, cloches etc to produce delicious finger carrots
Carrots are packed with Vitamin A and most kids love them so are ideal for introducing toddlers to veg. Interestingly as the carrots cook nutrient levels increase, except when overcooked. They should still retain a little bite
