- biOrb Ceramic Media in your biOrb aquarium is the main filtration element and is important in keeping the water clear and biologically healthy. Beneficial bacteria colonise the ceramic media and remove toxic fish waste from the water as the water flows through
- Adding more media to your biOrb will increase the area for filtration and help to keep the water clearer
- Over time, the pores in the ceramic media can become blocked with dirt and limescale reducing the surface area available. Replacing some of the media every year or so can help to keep the filtration efficient
- biOrb Ceramic Media is a man-made material and will not alter the pH balance of your aquarium's water or harm your fish
