Why we love it:
  • Bred by master clematis breeder, Raymond Evison, Bijou is a genuine "dwarf" clematis, that will keep low and compact whilst producing a mass of flowers all summer
  • Ideal for growing in patio pots with summer bedding plants

    What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Fully Hardy Deciduous Shrub that drops its leaves in winter
  • Flowers: Single lilac flowers from May to early July
  • Approx Max Height: 30cm (12")
  • Position: Full sun or partial shade. Clematis should be planted where the root system is in shade especially from the midday sun
  • Soil Type: Will tolerate most soil types

    Caring for your plant:
  • Pruning: Trim back all stems in later winter/early Spring by about a third
