Why we love it:Bred by master clematis breeder, Raymond Evison, Bijou is a genuine "dwarf" clematis, that will keep low and compact whilst producing a mass of flowers all summer Ideal for growing in patio pots with summer bedding plants
What you need to know: Plant Type: Fully Hardy Deciduous Shrub that drops its leaves in winter Flowers: Single lilac flowers from May to early July Approx Max Height: 30cm (12") Position: Full sun or partial shade. Clematis should be planted where the root system is in shade especially from the midday sun Soil Type: Will tolerate most soil types
Caring for your plant: Pruning: Trim back all stems in later winter/early Spring by about a third
