Bred by master clematis breeder, Raymond Evison, Josephine is one of the fullest double varieties of clematis you'll come across

We're talking serious flower power here, with blooms lasting right through the Summer up until the onset of Autumn

Ideal for patio containers and small gardens

What you need to know:

Plant Type: Fully Hardy Deciduous Climber that drops its leaves in winter

Flowers: Double pink flowers (10-12cm diameter) from May to early Autumn

Approx Height after 4 years: 2.5m (8ft)

Position: Will grow in any aspect including north. Clematis should be planted where the root system is in shade especially from the midday sun

Soil Type: Will tolerate most soil types

Caring for your plant:

Pruning: Cut down two-thirds of the stems and leave the remaining third intact on the plant at the end of winter
