Description
Why we love it:
  • Another great clematis for brightening a dark wall in part shade. Marie Boisselot is the best large flower white for all round performance

    What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Fully Hardy Deciduous Climber that drops its leaves in winter
  • Flowers: White flowers (12cm diameter) in May/June and then again in Sept
  • Approx Height after 4 years: 3m
  • Position: Sun or partial shade. Clematis should be planted where the root system is in shade especially from the midday sun
  • Soil Type: Will tolerate most soil types

    Caring for your plant:
  • Pruning: Prune established plants in late winter or early spring (February). Remove dead or weak stems before growth begins. Check individual stems from the top down until you reach a pair of healthy buds, and prune just above them, removing the spindly or damaged growth above
