- This is a vigorous and free-flowering variety of broom
- It is low maintenance and is a good, drought resistant plant that does well in poor soil

- Flowers: Deep scarlet-crimson with a yellow centre in May/June

- Spread: 1-1.5m (3-5’)
- Position: Full sun
- Soil Type: Well drained
Caring for your plant:
- Please note: all parts of this plant, especially the seeds, may cause mild stomach upset if ingested
- Best grown in well-drained poor, acid soils in full sun
- Requires little or no pruning, if you do trim up make sure you don’t cut in to the old wood
- Broom doesn’t like being moved so plant when small
- For propagating, semi-ripe cuttings can be taken in late summer or early autumn and hardwood cuttings in midwinter
