Join us for a relaxed and informative 1.5-hour morning talk celebrating the beauty and heritage of David Austin roses.
This special event features an in-depth presentation by Andy Rollings from David Austin, who will share expert knowledge and insider insights into these iconic English roses. The session will cover the history of David Austin roses, how they are bred, and their importance for pollinators, alongside practical topics such as lifting and grading.
You’ll also explore the diversity of bloom types, foliage, and fragrance, and gain a better understanding of the different types of roses available. Practical advice will include plant care, using roses in your garden, and selecting ideal companion plants. With inspiration drawn from the Chelsea Flower Show, Andy will also discuss growing roses for cut flowers and highlight his top “best picks” for the season.
