Why we love it:

Freesia Double Yellow are a traditional florists' favourite, with a heady scent and a bright yellow double flower

Grow them at the front of the border or near a door, where you can appreciate the smell and attractive spiky stems

They make wonderful cut flowers, filling the room with fragrance

The more you cut the flowers the more you encourage them to bloom again making them a very cost effective choice. Especially as each stem can flower for up to 3 weeks

These freesias will flower from June if planted in the autumn in any moist, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade
