Caring for your plant:
- Borderline hardy - may need winter protection
- May be treated as summer bedding or as a hardy shrub. If the latter, plant early in the season, protect for the first winter with a thick mulch on surface but not directly around the stem
- During the growing season water regularly and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each month
- Prune back hard in spring (after the frosts have passed) to promote new growth
