  • Hebe 'Dark Angel' produces long slender leaves, that are stunning deep burgundy in colour.
  • This delightful shrub provides an excellent display at the front of a border and offers colour all year round.
  • Dark Angel was a chance seedling at our Bransford Webbs nursery site and following four years of trials, it was introduced in 2006.

  • What You'll Receive: 20cm height plant in a 2ltr pot (20cm diameter)
  • Plant Type: Evergreen Shrub
  • Flowers: Lilac-mauve flowers appear throughtout late spring and early summer.
  • Approx Height after 4 years: 60cm (2ft)
  • Approx Width after 4 years: Approx. 60cm (2ft)
  • Position: Prefers a sheltered but sunny position
  • Soil Type: Well drained soil.
  • Hardiness: Should sustain frosts to -5C and beyond once established.
  • EU Plant variety rights apply. Propagation for sale without a licence is illegal. Caring for your plant:
  • Hebe Dark Angel requires little or no aftercare. If required, prune occasionally to maintain its shape.
  • Water well until established and during hot weather.

    All plants sold online are picked direct from our Worcestershire nurseries. Due to seasonality certain varieties may not be available in our Garden Centres. We recommend that you phone your local centre to check availability before making a specific journey. If it's in stock our Garden Plants Team will more than happily reserve it for collection.

    Please note plants can take 3-7 days to deliver as we have to pick from our nursery and prepare for transport. Please remember this is a live product.
