- With hollyhock style flowers of a gorgeous soft pink with raspberry coloured hints, it's very floriferous and often has more than 40 small soft pink petals cupped by its five larger petals
- Slightly greyish-green foliage with an eye-catching variegation of cream patterning around the edge of each leaf provides a perfect backdrop to the flowers which bloom from mid-summer to autumn
- Sugar Tip is slower growing and more compact than other Rose of Sharon, meaning that with its compact, upright habit, it's good for smaller gardens
