We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Nursery team at our Wychbold store, to work closely with the Nursery Manager and team members.
 
This is a varied role working alongside the Nursery maintenance team.  You will mostly be working on the potting team to get all our plants off to the best start. Other duties will include weeding, watering and feeding plants, pruning and tidying, also helping to despatch the plants when needed.
 
We are looking for an individual who has relevant experience gained ideally in a nursery/horticultural setting.  You’ll use manual handling, be hard working, positive, flexible and happy to use initiative. You'll enjoy working independently or as part of a small, busy team, using state of the art technology, learning new skills and working at pace to meet deadlines.
 
Basic IT and administration skills are required for labelling and stock management processes; full training will be provided.
 
Most importantly, you'll have a real passion for horticulture, ideally supported by a formal horticultural qualification.
 
If you've got the relevant experience and knowledge, then we’d like to hear from you.  Having a PA1/PA6 spraying certificate and a qualified Counterbalance FLT driver would be advantageous.
 
You will be working outdoors in all weathers; sun cream, sunhats and waterproofs will be provided.
 
This is a fixed time contract from March to September 2026. Working circa 37.5 hours per week.
 
The role is based at our store in Wychbold and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
