- 1 x Mr Fothergills Alfalfa Seeds

- Indoors Sowing Guide: Sow outdoors all year round. Wash the seed to be sprouted in cold water, soak for 8 hours prior to ‘sowing’ For Sprouts use either a jar which can be covered with muslin or a clean cloth, or use a seed sprouted. Place seeds in jar and cover with a cloth or place seed in a sprouted. Thoroughly rinse the seeds with tepid water at least twice a day and drain. Harvest when approx. 0.5-2.5cm (¼ -1”) long.
- Hints & Tips: For ‘Micro-Greens’ use a small shallow seed tray or punnet with drainage holes and stand on a tray or plate. Place approx. 2.5cm (1”) of dampened seed compost or perlite in the bottom and sprinkle seed evenly on the surface. Cover with a fine layer of compost. Place on a warm light windowsill out of direct sunlight, keep moist at all times. Harvest when approx. 2-5cm (1-3”) tall and first true leaves appear. Cut with scissors above the compost.
