What you need to know:
  • 1 x Mr Fothergills Onion (Spring) Evergreen Bunching Seeds
  • Harvest: March to October
  • Outdoors Sowing Guide: Sow outdoors thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½”) deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 15cm (6”) between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. No thinning is required, but keep well watered in dry spells. Regular sowings made every three weeks will ensure a continuous supply through the summer. August to September sowings will be ready the following spring.
  • Soil Type: Well dug, fertile soil
  • Hints & Tips: An excellent variety for providing fresh salad onions in autumn. Ideal for salads and stir-fries
