Embrace the season of awakening and renewal at our Ostara Spring Festival - a gentle celebration of wellness, connection and creativity. 

Take a moment to pause, breathe and reconnect, as you enjoy a day of calm movement, sound therapy, mindfulness and creative awakening. Activities are designed to help you to slow down, embrace the fresh energy of the season, and reconnect in and around the Riverside Gardens tipis - a serene setting to reconnect with nature, and with yourself.

Inspired by nature’s rhythms and age-old traditions, the Ostara Spring Festival offers a chance to welcome in the longer days and the beauty of spring.

Morning: Spring Awakening Yoga and Sound Bath 
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm 
Price: £35

Greet the season of renewal with a Spring Awakening Yoga and Sound Bath session, led by yoga teacher and wellness coach, Sophie (Sophie Ward Wellness) and holistic wellness practitioner, Shelley (Sounds Omazing). 

Gently awaken your body, calm your mind, and open your heart with a slow nourishing yoga practise, that blends gentle movement with mindfulness and grounding techniques, leaving you feeling refreshed, centred and connected. 

Through whispered guidance, and flowing harmonics, Shelley will create a soothing soundscape that eases tension, clears the mind, and invites a deep sense of relaxation. Let the restorative sounds of the sound bath wash over you, as the vibrations and carefully crafted tones will help you to reconnect with yourself, emerging with clarity, calm and renewal. 

After your yoga and sound experience, enjoy a complimentary grounding cup of cacao by the firepit – a heart-opening, uplifting drink traditionally enjoyed to support calm, reflection, and connection. Served warm, it’s the perfect way to pause, reconnect with the season, and feel the spirit of spring awakening. Alternatively, a selection of herbal and regular teas will also be available. 

What to expect: 

• Open to all - no prior experience of yoga or sound bathing is necessary. 

• Mats are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.  

• Please bring your own blocks or bricks if needed. 

• Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything you need to feel cosy for the sound bath. You may wish to bring a cushion and an extra layer (jumper, socks, blanket).

Afternoon: Easter Wreath Masterclass with Anna Brian 
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Price: £55 (including tea. coffee, cake, glass of fizz or non-alcoholic alternative)

Tap into your creativity and bring a touch of spring into your home with our Easter Wreath Masterclass, led by floral designer Anna, from Flowers by Anna Brian. In this guided hands-on session, you'll create a living Easter wreath on a natural willow base, layered with moss for a beautifully natural look - perfect for decorating your front door or your Easter table.

You’ll add fresh foliage, twigs, dried flowers, and a selection of living spring flowers, crafting a wreath that’s vibrant, fragrant, and uniquely yours. Each wreath is designed to last through the Easter period, providing a cheerful pop of colour and natural fragrance to your front door, that celebrates the season of renewal.  

Leave the session with a lasting creation to enjoy throughout spring – a joyful, handcrafted reminder of the simple pleasures of the season. 

Complimentary tea. coffee, cake, and a glass of fizz or non-alcoholic alternative will be served to you during the session.

Between sessions
Take a leisurely, mindful stroll through The Riverside Gardens, enjoying the colours, scents and sounds of spring. Alternatively, explore the store for Easter gifts and seasonal treats, or enjoy a relaxing bite to eat in our Planthouse Café or restaurant.
