Description
Why we love it:
  • Phormiums are stunning architectural plants with arching, sword-like leaves that provide background structure, height and colour to a garden and year round interest
  • Phormium Apricot Queen has wonderful yellow and green striped foliage and is a useful planting companion for a wide range of colours
  • Easy and trouble free to grow, Phormium Apricot Queen may be planted in borders or containers, and during the hottest summers will produce spikes of tubular flowers
  • Commonly known as the New Zealand Evergreen or New Zealand Flax, traditional phormium varieties were used by Maoris for plaiting into mats, containers and shoes

What you need to know:
  • New Zealand Flax/ New Zealand Evergreen
  • Soil Type: Well-drained
  • Full sun
