Why we love it:As the name suggests, this wonderful Vinca has illuminating golden leaves variegated with a dark green edge. Magnificent light blue flowers appear from mid spring, only to enhance the the brightness of the foliage Excellent for groundcover under trees, on banks or to prevent weeds. We think this can be just as effective planted in your pots or hanging baskets for its trailing habit. Translated, Vinca means to bind or wind about.
What you need to know: Plant Type: Evergreen groundcover or trailing shrub. Flowers: Beautiful light blue flowers appear from mid spring. Approx Height after 4 years: 15cm (6") Approx Width after 4 years: 1.2m (4ft) Position: Prefers a sunny or shaded position. Soil Type: Fertile but well drained soil. Hardiness: Should sustain frosts to -15C EU plant variety rights apply. Propagation for subsequent sale without a licence is illegal.Caring for your plant: Trim back if required.
