Description
Why we love it:
  • One of the most prized varieities of bearded iris often the star at the Chelsea Flower SHow. Easy to grow and a great plant for building the confidence levels
  • The strong silvery blue arrow like foliage will help to give structure and contrast to cottage garden borders.

    What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Hardy Perennial whose leaves will die down over winter to reappear in Spring
  • Flowers: Blue white from Early Summer
  • Approx Height after 4 years: Approx. 90cm
  • Approx Width after 4 years: Approx. 90cm
  • Position: Sunny position
  • Soil Type: Well drained and preferably neutral to alkaline. Does brilliantly in chalky soils
  • Hardiness: Fully hardy

    Caring for your plant:
  • Water well until established and during hot weather.
  • Little or no aftercare needed. Iris will always benefit from a good Spring mulch with manure or homemade compost. We also recommend an annual application of a good all round fertiliser
