Why we love it:
  • Leptospermum martinii hails from Australia and New Zealand and has the added benefits of compact evergreen foliage with dazzling exotic pink flowers in the Summer
  • Really suited to gardens that are sheltered from the worst frosts in ground that is very free-draining. Alternatively grow in a pot on a patio in a mixture of John Innes No 3 & multipurpose compost

    What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Tender Evergreen Shrub that keeps its leaves in winter
  • Flowers: Carmine pink in May and June
  • Height after 4 years: 2m [6ft]
  • Width after 4 years: 1m [3ft]
  • Position: Sun or partial shade
  • Soil: Must be free draining

    Caring for your plant:
  • Little or no aftercare required
  • Lightly prune to shape after flowering
  • Protect with fleece during periods of prolonged frost
