Webbs Garden Centres Shortlisted as Finalist in the Toy Industry Awards 2025
We’re thrilled to share that Webbs Garden Centres has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Toy Department of the Year category at the Toy Industry Retailer of the Year Awards 2025, in recognition of our new Toy Emporium at Wychbold, which opened in October 2025.
The Toy Industry Awards, organised by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) in partnership with the Toy Retailers Association (TRA), celebrate excellence in toy retail, product design and toy supply. These national awards attract leading retailers including Selfridges, Smyths, The Entertainer, Argos/Sainsburys, Fenwick, B&M, as well as independent toy retailers, and garden centres with toy departments.
Designed to inspire storytelling, creativity, and imaginative play for young children, our Toy Emporium launched on Saturday 25th October 2025 at our flagship Wychbold site in Worcestershire. The 344-square-metre department features interactive play zones, dress-up areas, and imaginative corners inspired by beloved stories such as Willy Wonka, Rapunzel, Mary Poppins, and James and the Giant Peach. A carefully curated mix of educational, sustainable, and trending toys are on offer, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative play.

“Since we opened, families have visited in fantastic numbers and have been delighted to discover an extensive range of toys from LEGO, Jellycat, Brio, and other fan favourites including Paw Patrol, Pokémon, Disney Stitch, Hot Wheels, and Tonies. Children have loved exploring the giant rocket, castle, tree nook, and Willy Wonka-style wall, while the “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall” area encourages little ones to try on costumes inspired by Snow White.”
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 20 January 2026, which is also the first evening of The Toy Fair.
