Caring for your plant:
- Water well in dry spells
- Remove the faded flower heads in spring after the risk of frost has passed
- Cut back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds and take out misplaced or diseased shoots
- Mulch young plants in spring
- Once established, remove a quarter to a third of the shoots to the base of the plant
