- Belonging to the potato family and also known as Chilean potato tree, Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin' is a large, fast growing climber with deep purple-blue, slightly scented blooms in generous clusters from Summer to Autumn
- It has dark green leaves, which may be lost in colder winters but will regrow in spring
- It's a superb climber for a south or west facing wall

Caring for your plant:
- Tie in stems to wall or fence supports
- In early spring remove a third of the oldest stems to ground level
- Protect from winter cold
