Why we love it:Stipa tenuissima 'Ponytails', known as Mexican Feather Grass, is an outstanding evergreen grass that deserves a place in most gardens It has very erect, tight clumps of narrow bright green leaves with arching heads of delicate flowers Planted in bold drifts, this can have the effect of rippling clouds whenever there's the slightest breeze It's also useful for specimen plantings and can be planted in containers Like many ornamental grasses it will give a beautiful winter silhouette and its delicate texture will be much admired
