Ticket price: £13 per child (includes trail, activity, pumpkin 15cm-20cm, battery-operated tealight) babes in arms free (no pumpkin) and £5 per adult (trail only, no pumpkin). BIGGER AND SPOOKIER FOR Halloween 2025: Dare to enter Hagley's Haunted House and encounter the restless spirits of the area's dark past!
Lord Lyttelton is throwing a party and you are all invited - wear your best for a ghostly fest!
Leave your coat in the cloakroom of the cursed and join the party or should we say...after party, mwahahahaha!
Take a seat at the banquet of nightmares...Eyeball skewers anyone?
Pitstop in the powder room - but who is that in the mirror?
Willow's kitchen is cooking up some chaos! Help her stew get back on track...a touch of spider's leg perhaps?
Next stop, dare you enter the hut of Grimgrid, Caretaker of Grounds and Graves...WARNING he may have an interesting pet or two!
Finally, choose your own pumpkin from Grimgrid's Pumpkin Patch, carve it and take it home to scare away the Ghouls of Halloween!
Costumes are encouraged if you want to blend in!

The trail takes place in the outdoor plant area in the old aquatics building, a new 10m x 6m hut and the secret garden which is covered by a marquee for pumpkin carving.
We are aiming for this to appeal to primary school children up to around age 12. If your child is easily spooked however...
The haunted house takes you from the Cloakroom of the Cursed, to Lord Lyttelton's Banquet, into a witches' kitchen and then outside onto the witches' decking. New for 2025 - we have extended the trail into a new building 10 m long which is Grimgrid The Caretaker's Hut where you will meet his special pets. We have a minimum of two actors on any day, you will meet two of the following: Lord Lytteton, Willow The Witch or Grimgrid the Caretaker.
You're then in Grimgrid's Pumpkin Patch where you choose your own pumpkin and there may be time for a spot of pumpkin bowling...before going through to the secret garden (undercover in a decorated marquee) to carve your pumpkin...On your way out of the secret garden, you'll encounter a spooky graveyard full of the ghosts of times past...There will also be a snowy owl to see next door in the Falconry (if he's not too shy).
Off-peak price 19cm-25cm. We also provide stencils,carving equipment and cut the tops for you...
Most of the trail is undercover except for the PYO courtyard and graveyard scenes. We recommend wrapping up warm!
The toilets are inside the store by the restaurant, please use the facilities before heading outside to the plant area and Haunted House as there are no toilets outside.
Yes we have a restaurant serving a selection of hot and cold food and drinks. We will also have the airstream by the marquees serving a delicious variety of sweet and savoury Halloween treats!
