We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Warehouse team at our Millets farm garden centre.
 
The role involves supporting the Team Leader to maintain the smooth operation of the Warehouse procedures for goods in and out.  You’ll work accurately and efficiently to ensure that goods are received and despatched in perfect condition whilst adhering to our health and safety policy and procedures.
 
Duties include:
  • Checking goods received and booking orders into stock.
  • Picking and dispatching goods.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and despatch requirements.
  • Move stock around the warehouse by hand and/or with the use of lifting equipment (pallet truck or fork lift truck).
  • Ensure warehouse paperwork up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure the Warehouse environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
 The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A good level of physical fitness.  Experience of manual handling and the ability to lift and move heavy/bulky items.
  • Basic computer skills and good numeracy skills.
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Forklift truck license desirable.
This is a part time permanent role with a good work life balance.  Working 28 hours per week.  Exact working days and hours to be discussed at interview.
 
The role is based at our store in Frilford, Abingdon and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
