Your main role will be picking and packing our range of products:
- Taking customer orders and locating the chosen items from our shopfloor or warehouse, ensuring that all items (including parts that make up a set) are chosen accurately and that the right quantities are selected.
- Selecting the right packaging for the product, follow agreed procedures accurately and label the item correctly.
The successful candidate:
- Will have picking/packing experience.
- Be able to work accurately, quickly and have good numeracy skills.
- Take pride in making sure each customer receives the right order, carefully picked and packed, within the agreed timescales.
- Will have an eye for detail and ensure quality control at the final stage of the despatch process.
- Have good IT and administration skills. You'll use handheld scanners to process stock. You need to ensure our stock inventory system is kept up to date. All operational training and support will be provided.
- Will be flexible regarding your department and duties as you may also be involved stock replenishment in other departments and be part of our Christmas team.
You will need to be comfortable with manual handling and working at pace.
This is a zero hours fixed term role until 31 December 2025. Working hours may include weekends.
The role is based at our store in Wychbold and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
