Competition Terms & Conditions of Entry
  • By submitting an entry to this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Webbs Community Heroes competition is open to all UK residents (except employees and families of the promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion) however to accept the prize of attending the event you will need to live locally, within 1 hours drive time. There is no cash alternative.
  • To enter the competition, nominate your local hero via the Facebook/Instagram messenger, please also supply your contact name, address and telephone number along with your nominees contact details (if different).
  • Please keep the reason for your nomination under 50 words.
  • 25 winners will be selected.
  • There is a maximum of one entry per individual based on the entrant's email address. In the event of multiple entries being received from the same person, only the first entry will be accepted.
  • The winners will be selected by a panel of two judges to include one independent judge.
  • The judges will be looking for entrants to explain in their entry why their hero is worthy of the prize and how they bring joy into people's lives or go above and beyond the call of duty to help another person(s).
  • Entries must be emailed/received by 12 noon on Thursday 3rd November 2022.
  • The winners will be announced at 5pm on Monday 7th November via email and telephone.
  • Once the winner has been notified that they have won, they will have 48 hours in which to respond. After this time, the promoter reserves the right to pass on the prize to a new winner selected by the judging panel.
  • The prizes consist of a family pass (2 adults and 2 children/1 adult and 3 children) to our exclusive Webbs Community event to launch our Enchanted Gardens fairy tale light trail on Thursday 10th November, which starts at 5:00pm and finishes at 6:30pm at Webbs, Wychbold, Worcester Road, Droitwich, WR9 0DG.
  • Winning guests must be available on Thursday 10th November to arrive from 5:00pm and will be responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the venue.
  • Winning guests will be invited to enjoy food and drinks in the hospitality tipis.
  • Once food has been served and prizes have been given, guests will be handed out wrist bands and invited to enjoy the Enchanted Gardens fairy tale light trail at their leisure from 5:45pm in ten-minute time slots.
  • A compère will host the evening and will be handing out a couple of prizes on the night, so please come dressed in your favourite Christmas jumper if you want to be in with the chance of winning a little extra Christmas cheer.
  • Entrants under the age of 18 must seek permission of their parent/guardian before entering into this promotion.
  • No cash or alternative prizes are available.
  • The promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so. The promoter shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
  • The promoters decision in all matters relating to the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into this.
  • The promoter is Webbs Garden Centre, Worcester Road, Droitwich, WR9 0DG.
  • Entrants hereby release Facebook of all liability that can be excluded by English Law. This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by associated with Facebook.
  • VIP guests will be asked to sign a waiver form which says they agree to have their photographs/video footage taken on the evening to be used in Webbs social media, online and in the local press. If guests do not wish to be in any promotional content, they should make this clear on the evening to organisers.
