Webbs Community Heroes Night

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for their community? It’s time they’re celebrated in style!

The Webbs Community Heroes Night returns for its fifth year on Thursday, 20th November 2025, kicking off the opening our our magical light trail, The Enchanted Gardens Oz. We’re on the lookout for remarkable people of all ages who brighten lives, lend a helping hand, or make a real difference in their community.

Nominate your hero and they could enjoy:
  • An exclusive evening of appreciation, hosted by Webbs co-owner, Ed Webb and radio presenter, Helen Kennedy
  • Festive food, drinks and a special prize-giving ceremony
  • Be among the first to explore The Enchanted Gardens Oz, our magical Wizard of Oz-themed Christmas light trail
This year's award categories will include Hero of the Year, Runner-Up Hero of the Year, and Best Christmas Jumper. 

Last year's winners were presented with special prizes, including a luxury festive food hamper, Christmas tree and Webbs gift vouchers.
 

How to Nominate Your Hero

  • Comment on this post or send us a direct message on our social channels with the words "Hero Nomination". 
  • Include your hero’s name and, in 50 words or fewer, explain why they deserve to be celebrated. Don't forget to include their town and their relationship to you. 
*If you don't have access to social media, please email your nomination to [email protected] with the subject header "Hero Nomination".

Important Details

  • Nominations close: 12:00 pm, Tuesday, 11th November 2025
  • Number of heroes selected: 25 heroes (and their families) will enjoy a magical evening at Webbs, Wychbold
  • Shortlisted nominees contacted by: 5:00 pm, Thursday, 13th November 2025
  • Attendance required: Heroes must be available on Thursday, 20th November 2025
  • Let’s celebrate the everyday legends who make our community sparkle

Important: Please include your reasons for nominating someone. Comments that only say "Hero Nomination" will not be considered.
