  • Tree heathers seem to have made quite a comeback in recent years and are prized for their stunning foliage colour
  • Malvern grower, John Richards, is the specialist grower of these wonderful shrubs and has been championing their merits for sometime with good reason
  • Makes a great central container plant surrounded by seasonal bedding such as creeping ivy & spring bulbs
  • Easy to grow and great for beginners



    What you need to Know:
  • Plant Type: Evergreen shrub that keeps its leaves in winter
  • Flowers: Fragrant white flowers occasionally on mature plants
  • Approx Height after 4 years: 2m (6ft)
  • Approx Width after 4 years: 1m (3ft)
  • Position: Full sun
  • Soil Type: Prefers acidic to neutral soil. If planting in pots, use ericaceous compost
  • Hardiness: Fully Hardy

    Caring for your plant:
  • Little or no pruning required
  • In containers give an annual feed with acid based feed such as Miracid or Murphy's Sequestrene
