  • An over-wintering onion variety, Onion Electric is an outstanding choice producing quality, shiny, deep red semi-globe-shaped onions with an elongated shape and excellent flavoured pink tinged flesh
  • Plant these onion sets in autumn or early winter for early harvesting in May and June
  • As well as using for cooking and in salads, Electric is a good variety if you want to make your own pickled onions


What you need to know:
  • 1 x Onion Electric (50 Sets)
    • Size: 14 -21
  • Plant sets out in autumn/early winter in rows
  • Sowing distance: 10cm apart, and in rows 30cm apart
  • Height:41-50cm
  • Spread:1-10cm
  • Easy to grow
  • High yielding
  • Plant in full sun at a depth where only the very tips of the sets are just showing through the soil
  • Harvesting: ready for harvesting in May/June
  • When dry, remove the foliage at the top of each onion and store in a cool, dry and dark place
  • For cooking, salads and pickled onions
