Viburnum davidii is a dome shaped, compact, evergreen, hardy shrub with oval dark green leaves. In May it has flattened heads of tubular, small dull white flowers. If plants are cross pollinated the flowers are followed by long lasting, metallic-blue fruits. Read more

What you need to know:
  • Plant Type: Evergreen, bushy, hardy shrub
  • Flowers: Tubular, small, dull white flowers in May
  • Height: 1-1.5m (3-5’)
  • Spread: 1-1.5m (3-5’)
  • Position: Full sun, partial shade, full shade
  • Soil Type: Moist, well drained

  • Please note: fruit can cause mild stomach upset if eaten
  • Please note: both male and female plants are needed to produce berries
  • Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings in summer
  • Requires minimal pruning. To retain a neat, dome-like shape cut back to strong stems or the base of the plant
