Webbs partners with Cheltenham Jazz Festival to create VIP garden

As an ‘In Kind’ partner, we’ve had the pleasure of creating the Festival’s VIP garden. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring our passion for plants to one of Cheltenham’s most celebrated cultural events.

The garden includes a mix of simple structural planting and small feature trees, with seasonal planting added for colour and softness. White and pink hydrangeas and marguerite daisies provide gentle seasonal interest, alongside evergreen shrubs and foliage plants that give the space structure throughout the year. Herbs such as rosemary and lavender add a light scent, while ferns and other shade-loving plants bring texture and a more natural feel in places.

Together, the planting helps create a relaxed and welcoming garden setting for festival guests to enjoy throughout the week.

Webbs Chairman Ed Webb explains:
“As an independent family-run business, we’re proud to support Cheltenham Jazz Festival and play a small part in something that means so much to the town. We share a real sense of community and creativity with the Festival team, and this project reflects those shared values.

“We hope we’ve helped create a little moment of calm and escape through our VIP garden design which offers a sense of serenity for guests to enjoy alongside the energy of the event.”

The six-day Festival takes place from 29 April to 4 May 2026, celebrating jazz in all its forms, from classic and contemporary to soul, funk and beyond.

Ian George, Co-CEO and Head of Programming at Cheltenham Jazz Festival:
