Hosta 'First Frost' is named because its reliably attractive leaves with consistent variegation last right up until the first frosts giving a long season of structural interst. Leaves start with yellow variageations and gradually soften to cream over the course of the summer. Pretty lavender blue flowers are held above the leaves in August.
