FAQs

The Enchanted Gardens are located at Webbs Wychbold, Worcester Road, Droitwich, WR9 0DG. You'll find The Enchanted Gardens at the bottom end of the field - look for the tipis. For detailed directions, find us on Google Maps here.

The gardens will be lit beautifully in jewel-like colours, festoons, and fairy lights. You will wander through themed zones inspired by The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, including The Palace of Oodeypore, Seeonee hills, the path through the jungle, Council Rock, Baloo's Law of the Jungle school, Kaa's lair, The Lost City, an Indian village, a buffalo stampede, and the final celebration at Council Rock. You will meet two live actors along the way (Balou and Bagheera or Balou and Mother or Father Wolf puppet). There is also an optional extra stop via Santa, where the elves will be busy in the elf workshop and Santa will be snug in his house. Children get a bespoke hand-drawn, Jungle Book colouring and sticker book. Please note that this is a quick stop for a photo with Santa, rather than a lengthy conversation. If you would prefer a longer, dedicated Santa moment, you may wish to book one of our three Grottos in Cheltenham, West Hagley, or Millets Farm (coming soon).

There are further toilets within the store during opening hours. Unfortunately, we do not have a ceiling hoist at the present time.

The route should take around 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Please allow additional time for catering before or after your event booking.

Yes. As this event takes place in The Riverside Gardens after dark, there will be a one-way lit route for visitors to follow in order to keep everyone safe. Please do not leave the set pathway at any time unless advised to do so by Webbs' event team. We ask that you always remain on the designated path because of hidden hazards such as slopes, the river & to prevent becoming lost. Children must always be supervised by an adult as the river Salwarpe runs through the gardens.

We are actively replacing paths with bonded gravel; in 2025, we upgraded the entire section after Santa's grotto, through the S-bend and archway, to bonded gravel. In 2026, we are doing the exit path, over the bridge and down to the breeze hut. We remain committed to providing an event that all can attend, and therefore continue to invest in improving accessibility across our site.

One small section towards Santa's cabin is still gravel, and so is the woodland. This terrain may not be suitable for all wheelchairs, and adults pushing other adults might find it challenging. While adults pushing children generally manage, if you have any concerns, we recommend contacting us in advance of your visit to view the paths and discuss your individual needs. You can reach us at [email protected] or 01527 860 000.

We also have all-terrain wheelchairs available for free hire, which may be suitable for some visitors, and these will be available to book shortly.

Half-capacity sessions are on Wednesday, 25th November and Thursday, 10th December 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm. These are also at a lower volume. There are no flashing lights in the trail this year. Please call 01527 860000 to book. Otherwise, we'd advise that weekdays, later in the evening are quieter.

A mouth-watering variety of festive food and drink options are available at The Enchanted Gardens Festive Fayre, located in front of The Enchanted Gardens. Alternatively, visit our indoor Bavarian-inspired Festive Food Market - find out more on both options soon.

Hire our cosy horsebox, dressed exquisitely for the occasion in Indian style soft fabrics, and heated with a pull across curtain. It is situated in the middle of the action down in the festoon-lit picnic area at Enchanted Festive Fayre. Choose your food from any of the stalls (info coming soon) and bring it back to your own heated horsebox...The perfect set-up for your Christmas gathering. Book soon.

Our total solar site production in 2025 was 1060MWh (from our 6-acre solar field and roof). Saving around 220 Tonnes of CO2 compared to using the equivalent amount of electricity from the national grid. That is roughly the weight of 30 elephants and means 65% of our total site power is from renewable energy! Many of our structures are made by immensely talented artists and sculptors on site or nearby, often with fallen branches or materials that we have salvaged from elsewhere on site. We reuse materials and lights from year to year, weaving them into new narratives and new stories to keep the experience fresh for our audience. Our character lanterns this year are from down the road in Bristol. Enjoy!
